Ayahuasca retreat in Písac, Peru. The Sacred Valley

When I came home from our retreat I was asked by a family member to give 3 words about my experience: Safe. Awakening. Love.

Taking this trip was a huge step for me in letting go of my fears. I have never done any drugs like Hallucinogenics in my life. I had a brief experience as a young adult with marijuana that left me scarred for life (extreme paranoia) so trusting another plant medicine was a huge step for me. Grandmother Ayahuasca has been calling to my heart for a long time. It was important for me to have this ceremony in authentic and traditional setting like Peru. The stars aligned and I received the opportunity to be guided by Eric. This is not an easy path to go on but being able to trust Eric made everything okay. Eric will push you and hold your hand because he wants the best for you. The first few ceremonies I tried to control my experience but I learned very quickly to surrender. She won’t hurt you. That was the hardest part for me. For anyone reading this who is scared and hesitant I feel you. If you can let go and observe everything will be fine. Don’t try and make sense of your experience, don’t compare it to anyone just enjoy it and allow it. At our retreat we were privileged to stay in the beautiful Sacred Valley near Cusco. We had the most serene accommodations that can bring peace to any heart. We had nourishing meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner and our bodies never felt better. We spent our days having bodywork like massages, beautiful fires at night, Temezcal sweat lodge, walks into town, hiking local ruins and of course our beautiful Ayahuasca ceremonies at dusk. The music, the people and the country will stay in your heart forever. I am grateful for the friendships I forged and for my clear mind and open heart.

I attended an Ayahuasca retreat led by Eric in August of 2021. Eric provided a safe, warm and inviting environment conducive to the emotional healing and journey I was seeking. He turned out to not only be a profound spiritual guide, but a mentor, coach and a friend. I feel very fortunate to have had the experience. Since the retreat I’ve felt a massive weight lifted from my shoulders, the emotional burdens I carried for so many years are now lighter and easier to manage/effectively nonexistent. As a result I feel like I’m truly myself and the greatest version of me, as an individual, a father, son, brother and friend to date. My closest relationships are flourishing too. I’ll forever be grateful to Eric and his circle of companions that gave so much in such a short amount of time. I had the honor of working with Eric and now have peace where there used to be much pain. Eric’s work is some of the most profound work, if not, the most profound work I’ve ever done. I have done a lot of great healing work from traditional counseling, energy work, yoga retreats, and more. Nothing has peeled back the layers as fast as his work - for me. I’m so grateful and blessed to have Eric Nies on my Healing Team!

I was at a low point in my life when I agreed to first work with Eric and his modalities. I was processing a stage 4 cancer diagnosis with level 10 pain, relationship heartache, financial struggles, car accidents and being molested during a “professional” massage. Since I’ve been in the wellness industry for a while, I knew that the challenges I attracted were emotionally-driven, and that I needed to heal my ancestral lineage and my Inner Child. Eric is the “Healer’s Healer”, for this kind of work is right up his alley!

What I appreciate most about Eric’s technique is he brings in skills and knowledge from a multitude of life experiences. He can be a life coach, health coach, spiritual counselor, medicine man and shaman. He knows when to be gentle and caring with huge heart space, and he times his moments of tough love and invitations for discipline when needed.

I’ve received healing sessions for clarity and emotional release with him twice, and I always get more than I asked for. This modality always blows my mind when the profound messages and answers to my questions flow in. It’s like a fast track to a moment of Enlightenment.

My manifestations after his sessions include feeling euphoric, peaceful, heightened senses, pain reduction, increase in strength, tumors shrinking or being stable, finding doctors/therapists I like and all the thrills that go hand in hand with enlightenment.

Eric’s superpowers are being intuitive, being supportive, holding space (being present without judgement) and exhibiting integrity while I’m in a totally vulnerable space, and needing to feel safe. Those are important qualities in a healing facilitator, especially when I felt burned by caretakers, therapists, doctors, and people in general.

Eric’s therapeutic journeys would be helpful for anyone who feels stuck & is searching for guidance and direction. He takes his sessions seriously, so when you’re ready to finally let go of what ails you, I highly recommend Eric. He’s worth every penny.

As a woman healing from childhood sexual trauma, I was anxious about mushroom journeying with a man in my sacred space especially having body work done during the process. I also knew that I needed to trust this process, and I’m grateful I did because Eric is not just any man. He is someone who has healed his trauma and, because of this, he was able to hold the space I needed to allow the deep rooted emotions to come up. I wept, cried, laughed...over again as he found specific spots where my body held the traumas.
